Something I love doing is driving through cities at night time.
Driving in Tokyo night time is mind blowing, and absolutely worth all economical trouble that might feature.
This (one more) song is inspired by midnight experiences behind the wheel.
Actually, my new song is also being released on a fresh Japanese label called Northern Book Sand Records. Sunday Elektronika Vol.2 is the name of the album, and it is a gathering of Yokohama and Tokyo's finest (well, of my opinion). The record cost 1300 Yen (or 13 USD) and is available HERE.

Sifonietta Modulata by Erase
Mr Erase, that lucky bastard, is leaving for the great Sonar festival in Barcelona tomorrow. A nice tradition he follows yearly.
Nicely, he left behind a cool tune for us others to enjoy while he is partying in Spain. Thank you, Mister!
Simple and clean. I really love this melodies! It reminds me of Wipeout, the classic game for Playstation.

Metal Slime by EnllaEnlla

EnllaEnlla breaks our silence with a new Techno piece.
Some unusual from what his studio normally generate, but I must say: I always fancy his stuff.
I found a discussion on a forum somewhere in the internet sea. The question was: Define the term "Japanese Electronica"? It followed with a heavy, and some times aggressive, debate.
I am not sure if I can do any better, but one thing is absolute: It is made in Japan.
This song is written by EnllaEnlla, and named: Metal Slime

Kurage by Mini
Kurage is the title of Mini's new song.
The title『海月』in japanese means Jellyfish if translated into english. A very suitable name for this song, I think.
If you would like to see Mini in action - and are in Japan - I suggest a visit to Kannai in Yokohama Sunday the 26th of April. Except Mini I will also perform a live.
More information available HERE.
This song is written by Mini, and called: Kurage.

Ryuuguu no Tsukai by EnllaEnlla
Who would believe mondays are good, if not getting some nice waves from my favorite. For me, new music is important to be working in cars, but also trains. This song works fine with trains.
I seriously believe Mr EnllaEnlla should get a PADI license for scuba diving, if he haven't already. His music truly reminds me of subsea experiences.
His title 『リュウグウノツカイ』or Ryuuguu No Tsukai refers to Japanese myth, and underwater sea castles.
This song is written by EnllaEnlla, and named: Ryuuguu no Tsukai.

Abell 1185 by Erase
One more by Erase. This time an intergalactic transmission to distant galaxies.
"Deep imaging with WFPC2 and the Hubble Space Telescope has been used to search for a population of intergalactic globular clusters (GCs) belonging to A1185, a richness class I cluster at cz=9800 km s-1.
The field is noteworthy in that contains no bright galaxies and yet is centered on the peak of the cluster's X-ray surface brightness distribution.
We detect a total of 99 point sources in this field to a limiting magnitude of IF814W~=26. An identical analysis of the Hubble Deep Field North, which serves as our control field, reveals a total of 12 objects in the same magnitude range.
We discuss possible explanations for this discrepancy and conclude that the point source excess is likely due to the presence of GCs within A1185. The number and spatial distributions of these GCs are consistent with their being intergalactic in nature, although we cannot rule out the possibility that some of the GCs may be associated with neighboring bright galaxies.
Deeper imaging with the Advanced Camera for Surveys may resolve this ambiguity."
This transmission is composed by Erase, and named: Abell 1185

Murasame by Mini
Murasame is the title of Mini's new song.
It is a beautiful word describing a type of rain in a poetic way, often associated with the Japanese autumn. The title booze my imagination with images from a world in a distant future.
Mini made this music only using a Monomachine. In fact, lately he has been using his Monomachine alone on most of his performances.

Today, or tomorrow actually, is the day. UCHU no KOE turns 13 Earth-months! And what wouldn't be better to celebrate such great event then with an experiment in sounds from Mr Erase?
His song Ironlung most probably contains sounds generated in machines normal folks haven't heard of. But I have been to his studio, and seen his bank...

Today we have got an 30 minutes long act by Mr Erase. Experimental electronic music performed live at the Art of Sound the 10th of November in Mariehamn, Åland (Finland).
Erase will also perform as DJ on my wedding in Yokohama the 9th of November. Also our other members from our site will perform there: EnllaEnlla and Mini, who will be playing live with their shiny Macbooks.
Except that, Mr Erase will also perform at a club in Tokyo, Wednesday the 12th of November. More info about that in next post.

Three~Day Interval by Mini
Mini is a master of spaced out dark ambient tunes. With this, his newest song, Mini changes the tempo on Uchunokoe.
His music reminds me of something I read in the paper couple of years ago. The SETI program had found an unusual signal from space, and where investigating it's pattern.
No, I haven't heard anything more regarding that since, and it is around 5 years ago now. Probably it was nothing more than noise from a for us unknown astra phenomena.
It still makes you wonder when, or if, we will discover a real signal from an intelligent civilisation out there..

Denki Groove by Erase
Denki Groove is the title of DJ Erase's latest production. The title have nothing to do with the Japanese pop group with the same name, but rather refers to his new best friend - the Tenori On from Yamaha. For those who didn't know, Denki means Electric in Japanese.
Using only that machine, Erase is here performing a 6:38 minutes long minimal techno act.
Erase is also performing wicked live sets from time to time, and he will surely be seen on stage with his Tenori On more then just once.

Sango no mori by EnllaEnlla
Sango no mori is the latest production from EnllaEnlla. A translation of the title to English, would be Coral forests.
I haven't asked him yet, but I wonder if EnllaEnlla possesses a scuba divers licence? I got my PADI last year in India, and that was among the best things I have ever done.
The song brings us under the ocean, among colourful fishes, animals and reefs in 15:24 minutes. Sango no mori is very suiting title, if you ask me.

Electric Ball by EnllaEnlla
Why did EnllaEnlla choose that name? The name Enlla Enlla is inspired by old Japanese mythology, and the yōkai named Enenra, or 煙々羅 in Japanese. Enenra is a spirit born in fire, and made out of smoke, with the ability to change shape to anything she likes. Enenra is said only to be seen by the ones whos hearth are pure.

Kuragemuri by EnllaEnlla
EnllaEnlla, whom is not yet heard on our site, is another Japanese producer based in the Tokyo yard. His minimal waves are beautifully synchronised with noise from the Kannana-dori, an avenue in Tokyo, around where his studio is located. EnllaEnnla typically produces warm atmospheric soundscapes companied with sponged techno or electronica beats. He is a perfectionist, and perfection is a word not strong enough describing his music.
