M54 Selection by Ujin

It has been silence from our corner for a while now. That silence has now ended.

M54 is a globular cluster in the Sagittarius Galaxy, located roughly 87,000 light-years from Earth.

It was discovered in 1994 that M54 was most likely not part of the Milky Way, but actually part of the Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy, making it the first extragalactic globular cluster ever discovered.

M54 is one denser type of globular - being class 3 (In a 12 scale where 1 is the most densest). It shines with the luminosity of roughly 850,000 times that of the Sun, and in it's core, there is evidence of a medium mass black hole.

I have made a set with music, a selection to honor M54's existence.

This set is named: M54 Selection, and is recorded 12 02 2011 by Ujin.
